President
Located in Clearwater Florida, Grand Bay Hospitality Group opened its doors with the specific goal of providing services addressing the unique challenges hotel operators face in this economic recovery climate. Greg Brosius, President and founder of the group has assembled a team of focused, resourceful, experienced hotel operators and executives to provide solutions and embrace today’s challenges and opportunities. The Grand Bay Hospitality Group manages and develops hotels and offers targeted services that enhance the property’s current resources. Prior to establishing Grand Bay Hospitality Group, Greg served as President of Stafford Hospitality for nine years. During his tenure Greg grew the portfolio from two to as many as fifteen properties through development, acquisition and third party management contracts. Prior to Stafford, Greg was Vice-President of operations for a number of hospitality companies including Westbrook Hotels, Sea Wake Resorts, and Lane Hospitality. With operational expertise in limited service, full service and resort properties Greg brings the experience of a thirty year career to the group and has worked closely with Hilton, Marriott, IHG, Choice, Wyndham and LaQuinta franchises. Greg is a graduate of Penn State University and is a Certified Hotel Administrator.
Susan brings to Grand Bay over twenty years of hospitality experience in the hotel and casino business. Prior to Grand Bay Susan was the Corporate Controller at Stafford Hospitality for nearly five years. During this time Susan developed and streamlined an internal purchasing model and environmental initiatives saving the company in excess of a million dollars annually. Prior to Stafford Susan was the Corporate Controller for a group operating casinos on cruise ships for seven years and Controller for a hotel in upstate NY for seven years. Susan attended State University of NY and is currently enrolled in the Masters program with University of Phoenix.
Rich Friedman
Director of Operations
Rich brings over thirty years of Hospitality experience to the company. He has a proven track record of successfully operating both full and limited service properties in multiple locations and market places as well as the ability to return failing properties to profitability. He is well versed in revenue maximization, superior guest service procedures, accurate budgeting and forecasting, sales and marketing plannings and execution and the day-to-day operations of a hotel. After serving as the Membership Director for the National Restaurant Association for tweleve years he moved into the hotel business and held positions of General Manager, Regional General Manager, Director of Operations and Regional Vice President at several Management Companies including General Inns, West Brooke Inns, CUSA, and Stafford Hospitality. He is a graduate of the Culinary Institue of America, has a Bachelor of Science from the University of New Haven and a Masters of Business Administration from Loyola University.
Anna Barreto
Marketing Director
A graduate of Marymount College and New Haven University Ana has over twenty years of Hospitality Sales and Marketing experience. She has held the position of Director of Sales and Marketing and Regional Director for such prestigious firms as the Intercontinental Hotel Group, Marriott Corporation and helms Brisco. She is well versed in Strategic Planning, Advertising, Sales management, Marketing Development, Contract Negotiation and revenue Maximization. In addition, she has published numerous articles on Hotel sales and Marketing.
Peter Smith
Director of Renovation and Facility Maintenance

With nearly 30 years of hands on experience in Hotel and commercial renovation and facility maintenance, Peter manages a fully developed division of services. From property maintenance, repairs and asset management plans, to full renovation and installation services; Peter has the experience, resources and integrity to manage the diverse needs of each client.
Michelle Smith
Director of Information Technology
Grand Bay Hospitality Group
Joining the Grand Bay team in 2010 Michelle is responsible for the technology infrastructure maintenance, planning and development. With her hands on approach Michelle’s role is to keep systems and operational technology efficiencies current. Prior to Grand Bay Michelle was Technology Manager at Performance Brands for 5 years , and with Toucan Industries for 2 years where she was Customer Service Manager and IT Administrator. Michelle attended Florida Atlantic University and is pursuing Microsoft certification.
